Scott Gilly, Founder
Prior to exiting DirectDep, a cloud-based technology platform for law firm professionals to instantly book court reporters and related services for depositions in real-time, 24 hours a day, Scott Gilly founded and led this innovative business that benefits everyone in the legal deposition marketplace. He is a former practicing lawyer with over 20 years of in-the-trenches litigation experience working with court reporters and other litigation support providers.

Scott also founded Cedar Hill Ventures, which incubates technology platforms targeting inefficiencies in mature industries as well as providing venture capital and consulting services to start-up and early growth stage companies.
Gilly earned his A.B. from Harvard University, where he was Captain of the Basketball Team. He received his J.D. from Catholic University, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. He remains active in the Harvard alumni community, having served as a Director of the Harvard Alumni Association and Executive Committee member of the Board of Trustees of the Harvard Club of New York City.
